Internship Opportunities
We are on the search for some Interns! Writers/Contributors:
- Smart, enthusiastic writers with a passion for Streetwear Fashion, Arts, and the Hip Hop Lifestyle
- Ability to write interesting, funny, concise, unique articles
- Finger on the pulse of what is hot/up-and-coming in our related fields
- Clever, quirky, sense of humor that can be infused in your writing
- Organized and hardworking
- Large social network
- Online/Blog writing experience
Graphic Design:
- A strong background in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and front-end developing skills using CSS and HTML
- Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut skills would be a plus
- Good communication, organizational and project management skills
- Have a good understanding of digital media, branding and interactive design
- Self-sufficient
- Self Motivated
- Takes Initiative
- Junior or senior student studying Graphic Design or a related field
- Assist creative team on various projects including brand identity design, web design, video animations and graphics and other projects as needed
- Creation of print ready documents
- Creative project concept exploration
- Must be able to provide own laptop and design tools to qualify for this internship
PR/Marketing with options for “Social Media Specialist”:
- Develop and implement creative ways to increase brands awareness and drive traffic to website, Facebook, blog and Twitter.
- Update blog, Twitter, Facebook and other Social Media Platforms
- Develop and implement ‘out-of-the-box’ promotional campaigns and contests
- Develop a strong business relationships with fashion and culture bloggers
- Respond to press inquiries for fashion editorials, track and gather press coverage.
- Drafting and editing press releases
- Excellent phone and writing skills
- Must be extremely organized.
- Must prioritize well and focus on completion of assigned tasks on or before due dates
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Word, Excel and search engines
- Maintain a positive attitude and have a customer service approach at all times
Social Media Specialist:
- Aggregate and/or create article and video content
- Communicate exciting social media news (internal and external)
- Distribute content to various content websites
- Monitor and engage on various social media platforms
- Put together bi-monthly newsletter to our subscribers/contact listing
- Internet research to find and engage with social media communications
- Update website, as needed
- Track website statistics
- Perform above tasks and others for client projects if necessary
